Corgi Toys Batmobile die-cast model in black from 1966–1970, used.
Description from the seller
Identifying Data
Manufacturer: Corgi Toys (Made in Great Britain)
Model: Batmobile (Catalog code: 267)
Production period: Classic series introduced from October 1966, based on the famous car from the American TV series with Adam West.
Material: Die-cast metal with internal plastic parts and accessories.
Analysis of Condition and Visible Details
Bodywork and Paint: The model features the original glossy black paint with evident and widespread signs of play wear. Color losses (fading and scratches) are concentrated mainly along the outer edges of the wheel arches, on the front snout, and on the distinctive bat-shaped rear fins, revealing the metal underneath.
Cockpit: The windows are transparent plastic with the characteristic aqua-blue tint. Inside there is only the Batman figure at the helm, while the passenger seat (Robin) is empty. The orange and gold plastic of the seats and central console is intact and well preserved.
In the center of the rear chassis are clearly visible the three vertically arranged exhaust tubes colored metallic silver, which originally served as missile launchers. At the rear of the cockpit is inserted the small gray antenna bent, partially damaged.
Overall Condition: This is a classic "Play-worn" model. Despite aesthetic defects related to age and the absence of some accessories, the metal structure of the model shows no deformations or structural breaks, lending the piece vintage charm for enthusiasts or restoration fans.
On the front snout, the plastic chain-cutting blade is present.
