Distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2012 after 20 years of ageing, this expression represents the distinctive Heavy Trinidad Rum style for which Caroni has become famous among collectors and rum enthusiasts.

The rum was aged under tropical conditions, first in Trinidad until 2008 and subsequently in Guyana after 2008.

Bottled at 55% ABV, this release is presented with the iconic black-and-white image of the Caroni Distillery, photographed on 9 December 2004 and described on the label as the last picture of the distillery.

Caroni Distillery, founded in 1918 and closed in 2003, has become one of the most important names in the world of collectible rum. Remaining original bottlings are increasingly sought after for their distinctive heavy style and historical significance.
