Impressive sideboard / credenza in Neorenaissance style – Carved wood and bullseye glass rolled glass (19th century)
Description:
Elegant and imposing vintage sideboard/credenza in Neorenaissance style, made in solid wood finely carved. The piece stands out for its refined artistic craftsmanship, enriched by fluted pilasters with carved capitals, raised decorative friezes, and a robust molded top.
The front features three doors with evocative bullseye rolled glass in amber/gold tones, which give the interior compartments a dramatic and luminous display.
Historical detail / Original label:
Inside one of the wooden drawers/boxes there is an original handwritten label from the period dating to 1880 ("Maso, 10/2 1880"), bearing a dedication note and family provenance belonging to Mrs. Francesca Gessi nei Grossi, a detail that testifies to its authenticity and historical charm.
