Description from the seller

The first image is AI-enhanced to better showcase the design against a neutral background. Please rely only on the following original photos for the item’s true condition.

3-piece Bauhaus coffee and tea service, attributed to designer Hans Przyrembel.

The service consists of a coffee/tea pot, milk jug and sugar pot and displays all the characteristic elements of German Bauhaus design: clean cylindrical volumes, minimalist lines, asymmetrical pouring rims and functional geometric form.

The set is made of non-magnetic white metal (likely alpacca/nickel silver) with original black Bakelite details. The combination of material use, construction and form closely aligns with comparable Bauhaus services that are attributed to Hans Przyrembel in the international design trade.

Hans Przyrembel (1900-1945) was a German Bauhaus designer, gold- and silversmith. He studied from 1924 to 1928 at the Bauhaus in Weimar and Dessau, where he worked in the metal workshop under László Moholy-Nagy. He collaborated with Marianne Brandt on lighting designs, among others. From 1929 he led his own workshop in Leipzig. His work is valued for its clear geometric language and functionalist Bauhaus aesthetics.

The service is unrestored/untouched. There are no visible maker’s marks or manufacturer stamps detected. The description is based on the design features, construction, and comparison with documented examples from the trade and auction world.
