Description from the seller

Up for auction: an extraordinary pair of antique wooden wall sconces of Tuscan craftsmanship, specifically from the historic city of Siena.

The sconces are gold leafed, perfectly maintained; you can see signs of old restorations but they are absolutely perfect!

They are true wooden sculptures.

Stunning in person.

They are perfect for furnishing salons or rooms of notable prestige and visual impact, such as hotels, historic residences, and noble houses.

Seller's Story

I offer at Catawiki auctions objects from the past, sometimes unique, rare and sought-after, ranging from paintings to wall appliques or sculptures in wood or gilded bronze. I am passionate about antiques and I’m happy to share this passion. Happy bidding to everyone!
