Description from the seller
Mid-century telescopic wall lamp in teak and metal, Scandinavia, ca. 1960-1975
Elegant Mid-Century wall lamp with extendable arm, made of teak with a metal telescopic construction. The lamp is characterized by its clean Scandinavian design and high-quality materials, typical for designs from the sixties and seventies.
The wall mount and arm are made of solid teak, combined with a metal extending mechanism that allows the lamp to adjust in depth from about 65 cm to 90 cm. The light source is also directional, making the lamp suitable for both functional and decorative use.
The design shows similarities with Scandinavian designs from Denmark and Norway in the Mid-Century period. An exact manufacturer or designer could not be determined. The current shade appears to be of later date and is included as shown.
A atmospheric and architecturally designed object that fits excellently within interiors in Mid-Century, Scandinavian or modernist style.
