T. Zweers - Lamp - Teak - Zwenklamp

T. Zweers – Mid-Century adjustable wall lamp – Netherlands, ca. 1955-1965

Remarkable Dutch design wall lamp from the 1950s/60s, designed by T. Zweers. The lamp is made of teak and features an elegantly curved arm mechanism with adjustable position. On the arm sits the original stamp with the designer's signature and the note "Ned. Octrooi No. 100.913", a stylish reference to the patented adjustment system.

The design combines functionality with the warm look of Scandinavian-inspired Dutch design from the postwar period. The slim curved arm, the attractive wood grain, and the refined details give the lamp a timeless appeal that fits perfectly in a mid-century interior.

The lamp is fitted with an E27 socket and has a total reach of approximately 53 cm. A characterful and decorative object that can be used as both a reading lamp and ambient lighting.
