We present an elegant Beijing-style Aubusson rug, produced during the 1970–1980 period.
It is woven in wool on a cotton base using a manual tufting technique. In this system, the wool is manually inserted into the base and fixed to the back with a special adhesive compound. Finally, a protective textile lining is added to provide stability and protect the entire lower structure.
It stands out for its delicate floral design, its soft pastel tones, and the wool's lovely sheen, which changes slightly depending on the incidence of light.
