Description from the seller
. Typical for this glamorous style is the combination of geometric, architectural forms and shiny, golden metal surfaces.
Material & construction: The heavy lamp base consists of brushed and highly polished brass. The construction echoes an architectural column motif: An inner, mirrored brass pillar is surrounded by an outer, open frame of brushed brass.
Condition: In the close-up photos there are light, age-related signs of wear. There are minimal oxidation spots (patina) and on one edge of the outer frame a more noticeable discoloration/scraping trace in the metal (see image RikBqV). The cream-colored fabric shade is visually clean and not dented.
Technique: The lamp has a standard E27 socket. The wiring with the gold-colored cable, the pull switch and the Europlug is functional (as the last image with the light on proves). It conforms to the common standard of the late 1980s or 1990s. A manufacturer’s plaque is not directly visible in the photos, but the design is strongly reminiscent of premium lighting manufacturers of that era (such as Banci Firenze, Maison Jansen or Sölken-Leuchten).
