Luxe Wardrobe Trunk / traveling trunk with drawers, clothes hangers and original keys – ca. 1920-1940
Extremely handsome and mostly complete wardrobe trunk from the first half of the 20th century. This type of luxurious travel case was used for longer train and ocean journeys and functioned as a compact wardrobe while traveling.
The trunk features a very complete interior with four pull-out drawers, a pull-out hanging section with original wooden clothes hangers, and various storage compartments for clothing and personal belongings.
The original keys are still present. The interior is lined with the original decorative fabric bearing a characteristic motif. The exterior is finished in black with metal reinforcements, corner pieces and original fittings.
Thanks to the complete interior, the included keys, and the authentic appearance, this wardrobe trunk forms a distinctive collectible and a decorative piece of furniture for a classic or industrial interior.
