The Lotus series was designed by Danish designer Bjørn Wiinblad in the late 1970s. The service was officially launched between 1979 and 1980, coinciding with the celebrations for the Rosenthal brand's centenary. The specific variant with this floral and geometric petal pattern in pink tones on a white background (a shade of pink often commercially identified as Lotus Pink or Gravad Rose) was produced mainly throughout the 1980s.

Excellent condition, no signs of wear.
