Rims with a silvered edge and a delicate floral motif and stylized sprigs in rust/brown, arranged on small branches along the rim. The dark green mark belongs to Verbano Laveno (Verbano Factory of the Italian Ceramics Company), a historic porcelain manufacturer active in Laveno-Mombello, in the province of Varese. Emblem in the shape of a triangle topped by a stylized crown with a cross at the top. The triangle is bordered by decorative motifs of ribbon and garlands. Inside the triangle the inscription VERBANO appears, while beneath the lower decorative element the inscription LAVENO is present. This specific green under-glaze mark is generally associated with table porcelain, tea sets, or decorative objects produced between the 1930s and 1965.
