Given the excellent condition and the specific pattern, this piece is likely produced in the mid-to-late 20th century (ca. 1950–1980)

Dit type Chinese Art Deco-tapijten werd oorspronkelijk populair in de jaren 1920 tot 1940 (vaak aangeduid als de "Walter Nichols-stijl"), maar de productie van deze specifieke dikke, handgemaakte wollen kleden liep door tot in de jaren 1970 en 1980. Gezien de uitstekende staat en het specifieke patroon is dit exemplaar vermoedelijk geproduceerd in de mid-to-late 20e eeuw (ca. 1950–1980)
