Byzantine Bronze Oil Lamp – 4th to 10th Century AD
A bronze oil lamp of elongated triangular form with a recessed wick channel, a central filling hole surrounded by a radiating motif, and an arched rear handle. Engraved geometric ornament and linear borders decorate the body. The surface retains a dark brown patina, mineral accretions and wear.
