Makayhos - [Canvas] Dragon Ball Saga – Origin of Wishes

The artwork depicts a reinterpretation of the opening cover of the Dragon Ball saga, translated into a 3D LEGO-like style and transformed into a three-dimensional scene suspended between play and myth. In the foreground, a young figure is depicted seated on a large serpentine dragon that coils through space with a circular motion, while symbolic elements float around the composition, marking the visual rhythm of the scene.
The structure clearly echoes the iconic setup of the original cover: the relationship between character and creature, the centrality of the pose, the balance between lightness and power. However, the LEGO-like language completely changes the perception, replacing the drawn line with modular volumes, visible joints and clean surfaces, making the image playful, solid and three-dimensional.
The suspended luminous spheres and stylized clouds create an atmosphere of anticipation and desire, while the dragon becomes a compositional element that envelops the scene like a living frame. The movement does not tell an action, but an origin: the beginning of a journey, fixed in an eternal moment. The whole appears as a mythological painting reinterpreted through a contemporary and pop aesthetic.
Dragon Ball Saga – Origin of Wishes celebrates the birth of an iconic imagery, transforming a historic cover into a three-dimensional visual object, accessible and symbolic. A canvas designed for pop-culture collections, creative environments and spaces seeking a recognizable, luminous work rich in collective memory.
