A mixed lot of Japanese woodblock printing and carving tools, including Power Grip and Sunstar carving tool sets, a Baren, a Higonokami folding knife, and a grafting knife, dating from 1980–1990 and originating from Japan, in vintage good condition with signs of aging and blemishes.

Description
A mixed lot of Japanese carving and printmaking tools, well suited to woodblock printing (mokuhanga), woodcarving and craft work.
Included:
Power Grip carving tools in their original presentation box, with shaped wooden handles bearing the Power Grip logo
Sunstar carving tool set (chōkokutō) in a fitted case with sharpening stones
Baren with a traditional bamboo sheath wrapping, the hand tool used for taking impressions in Japanese woodblock printing
Higonokami folding knife stamped "登録商標 肥後守定駒" (registered trademark Higonokami, Sadakoma)
Japanese grafting knife (tsugiki kogatana) with a contoured brown handle and maker's label
Blade profiles across the carving tools include kiridashi, flat, gouge and V-tool types.
Condition: Used, with blade clouding and marks, wear to handles and minor finish loss. Please refer to photos.
