Description from the seller
History / Description
A distinctive set of two Evangelion NERV pocket watches, featuring two different designs and presented with their matching metal storage tins.
One watch features a black and silver NERV-themed dial, while the other has a striking black and red design. The reverse sides are also decorated with detailed Evangelion-themed Japanese designs, giving each piece an attractive appearance from both sides.
The set comes with two NERV presentation tins in contrasting red and silver/white finishes, creating a particularly well-presented pairing.
These watches were distributed in Japan as promotional/prize collectibles and are appealing examples of Evangelion memorabilia.
Collector Appeal
The combination of two different NERV designs, pocket-watch styling, chains and coordinated presentation tins makes this a visually attractive set for an Evangelion collection.
Displayed together, the contrasting red, black and silver tones create a strong NERV aesthetic. The detailed dials and decorated reverse sides also make the watches interesting display pieces beyond their practical watch format.
An appealing Japanese collectible set for fans of Evangelion, NERV and anime memorabilia.
Condition
Both watches have been kept in storage and show signs consistent with age and handling.
The batteries are depleted and have not been replaced. Therefore, the watches are untested and their operation is not confirmed.
The metal presentation tins show age-related storage wear, including scratches, marks and some discoloration.
Please examine the photographs carefully for the condition of the watches, chains and presentation tins. The photographs form an important part of the description.
