Description from the seller

This is an antique silver jug or creamer, richly decorated with detailed repoussé work (draping work) in a Baroque or Victorian style. The jug has a bulbous base, a broad flaring neck with floral or symmetrical ornaments, and an elegantly cast handle with scroll details.

Such silver jugs were commonly used in the 19th and early 20th centuries as part of a tea or coffee service, for example for pouring milk, cream, or water.
