Magnificent and authentic antique French character doll from the Léon Prieur house (LP Paris), iconic model "Mon Chéri". Made around 1915 (World War I period), it was created at the time to compete with the German doll market.

Major features & Condition:

Head in porcelain biscuit: In perfect condition. No cracks (hairline), no chips, no restorations. A superb expressive face and delicately painted.

Neck mark: Engraved in relief "Mon Chéri LP PARIS".
