The Canon AE-1 (1976) is one of the most important cameras ever made — the first SLR with an onboard microprocessor, produced in millions and responsible for bringing automatic exposure to a mass audience. This is the black-finish version, less common than the chrome and correspondingly more sought after. It is paired here with the Canon FD 50mm f/1.8, the classic standard lens of the FD system.
