About the estate
The Giuseppe Rinaldi estate traces its viticultural origins to five generations. He founded the property in the 1920s by acquiring some of the best vines in the Barolo DOCG appellation (Brunate, Cannubi Ravera and Le Coste). Following him, his son Battista undertook major changes by developing winemaking techniques. Then his grandson Giuseppe, steeped in tradition and very close to his land, ran the business with a master hand until his death in 2018. He had initially intended to become a veterinarian, but his family heritage ultimately guided him toward a very different destiny… and what a destiny! The wines have become a global reference for Barolo enthusiasts.
Today, it is his daughters Marta and Carlotta who lead the estate. Trained at the Alba oenology school, they continue the know-how of their ancestors while maintaining nature through environmentally respectful practices. Their approach blends intuition, rigor, and a deep understanding of the terroir. Dolcetto, Barbera, Freisa, Nebbiolo, the region’s typical grape varieties, as well as ruché, are blended to deliver exceptional, complex, elegant wines capable of aging. Each vintage is eagerly anticipated and sells in a few days only.

About the cuvée
In this appellation where Nebbiolo earns its nobility, the wine reveals—after several years of well-recommended aging—notes of red fruit, dried flowers, rose, and gentle spices. The palate is defined by a fine grain of tannin and well-controlled typical acidity. A very great wine that would be a shame to open too young!
