Guy Allen (Manchester, 1970) is a British illustrator and graphic artist with a career spanning more than thirty years. He worked as a graphic designer, cartoonist and editorial illustrator, but developed especially a strong reputation as an automotive illustrator. His drawings combine a precise, often loose line with a strong sense of movement, character and the graphic tradition of classic car and motorsport illustrations.
Allen has worked for a wide range of international car brands and organizations, including Aston Martin, Porsche, BMW, Audi, Ford, Lotus, Abarth and the FIA. He has also created illustrations for Esquire, Magneto Magazine, BBC Worldwide, Penguin Books and the Petersen Automotive Museum. His versatile style ranges from detailed automotive illustrations to cartoons and more stylized graphic work, with his fascination for cars and motorsport a recurring theme.
