Bernardaud & Co. Limoges - Coffee set for 10 (13) - Porcelain

Magnificent and elegant fine Limoges porcelain service signed L. Bernardaud & Cie, featuring the remarkable decoration “La Linotte à tête jaune,” inspired by eighteenth-century ornithological volumes. Each cup is adorned with a bird and branch design that is particularly fine and detailed, with beautiful polychrome colors: blues, greens, reds, yellows and browns. The birds are very sharp and perfectly legible, giving each piece its own character. Each coffee cup represents a different bird. The pieces are delicately highlighted with gilded fillets, accentuating the elegant shapes of the porcelain. Service includes: 10 cups and saucers; 1 milk jug; 1 coffee pot; 1 sugar bowl with lid missing — see photos
