Roman antique colourless blown glass flask with a spherical body and a slightly flattened base, featuring a cylindrical neck with an outward‑flaring lip and spiral white hot‑applied threads around the glass, dating to the 1st–2nd century AD, measuring 110 x 65 x 65 mm, in very good condition with a discreet lip repair, provenance Belgium from a private collection (acquired from Galerie Dominique Thirion in 2017), with certificate of authenticity, an invoice, and an export licence available for non‑EU countries, acquired in 2025.

Balsamaire in colorless transparent glass, mouth-blown, with a spherical body whose base is barely flattened. The cylindrical neck, slightly constricted at the upper part, ends in a flared mouth with a lip irregularly folded inward. The body and neck preserve a decoration of fine white threads applied hot and spirally wound around the glass.
