Empire Roman pale green translucent glass miniature flacon, 80 × 17 × 17 mm, dating to the 1st–2nd century CE, provenance from the V.A. collection, Maastricht, Netherlands; excellent condition, authentic/original, with sales invoice and certificate of authenticity, export licence available for non-EU destinations.
Description from the seller
Miniature translucent glass flask of pale green, blown on the moment, with an elongated conical body, ending in a rounded base. The birth of the long cylindrical neck is highlighted by a slight narrowing achieved with a tool. It ends with a flared mouth with a throated lip, folded inward and then irregularly flattened, a more marked support on one side having caused a slight deformation of its profile. The base retains the pontil mark and the glass preserves some fine iridescent traces.
