Richard Ginori - Dinner set for 6 (21) - Porcelain - Shower

Noble service for 6 people from the prestigious Italian manufacture Richard Ginori. The service is made in the shape of the model "Doccia", one of the most famous from the renowned manufactory. The shape of these dishes still echoes the first Doccia model, which, unlike the "Antico Doccia" model reissued by Richard Ginori from the late twentieth century, has smaller dish diameters, in line with the tastes of the Fifties and Sixties, different from modern ones.

The dishes are enhanced by the gold trim that runs along the profile. On the edge of the dishes there is an alternating decoration: a bouquet of flowers of different types and colors.

The service is composed as follows:

1 round tray

Service for the table with classic lines, Doccia is the place where in 1735 from the artistic and entrepreneurial intuition of Marchese Carlo Ginori the historic Manifattura, the factory of white gold, was born. The Doccia shape defines the deepest essence that identifies the manufactory in the world as a Maison of excellence of pure porcelain and design. Curved lines and a profile inspired by late Baroque Florentine silverware make Doccia a timeless collection. The essential white evokes a sense of coming home, to a place all ours, timeless in its beauty.

The dishes are in generally excellent condition. It should be noted that one plate is a replacement from a service with a similar decoration by Winterling Bavaria; one plate has a small chip.
The flat and deep dishes feature a more recent mark than the small plates and the serving set; even the fluting, typical of the "Doccia" model, is slightly deeper on the dishes with the newer mark, as shown in the photograph.
