Description from the seller
A magnificent and rare collector’s dream opportunity: a substantial vintage 1980s Tyco Dino-Riders collection featuring iconic sets, action figures, and replacement parts from Waves 1 and later releases.
What is included in this collection:
1. Tyco Dino-Riders T-Rex (1988) – Working Motor!
• Iconic 80s giant measuring approx. 48x38 cm.
• Rare feature: The motor is functional and walks when a battery is inserted! Includes armor and original action figures. Normal age-related brittle plastic, minor wear, and a tiny piece missing from the tail tip (common issue).
2. Tyco Dino-Riders Triceratops (1988)
• Large classic piece with Hammerhead figure, radar dish, cannons, and accessories.
• Note: Motor is non-working (static display), slightly incomplete armor.
3. Kentrosaurus & Krok (1990)
• Rare mid-sized dinosaur with figure, side cannons, and purple armor. Great cosmetic condition.
4. Pterodactyl & Gear (1987, Wave 1)
• Flyer set featuring Pterodactyl figure, action figure, gliding harness, and rescue ladder.
5. Deinonychus & Antor (1987, Wave 1)
• Leg mechanism jammed and rubber band perished, but visually stunning.
6. Monoclonius & Mako (1988)
• Dinosaur and Mako figure with firm joints, vibrant colors, and red accessories.
7. Additional Figures, Saddles & Parts Lots:
• Extra Krok figure seated on a saddle/harness.
• Ankylosaurus harness & gear lot (purple main harness + 3 red accessories).
• Quetzalcoatlus silver/blue saddle replacement part.
• Weapons and accessories replacement parts lot (weapons, binoculars, shield).
Condition report: Overall, this is an incredible vintage collection spanning 1987–1990. Items show normal signs of age, play wear, and some missing clips or broken connectors typical for nearly 40-year-old plastic toys, but the visual and display value is exceptionally high.
