Splendid and monumental sculptural floor lamp (standard lamp) standing a full 1.80 meters tall, dating from the period between the 1970s and 1980s. The piece stands out for its bold, slender geometric wooden shaft with an hourglass postmodern line, expressing the finest cabinetmaking and high Italian craftsmanship of the era. The lamp has recently been completed through careful conservation-restoration, which involved the integration of two splendid opaline glass shades crafted contemporaneously with the period, chosen to respect and enhance the monumentality, proportions, and original aesthetic of the piece. The electrical system is original and perfectly functioning. The vintage overall conditions are excellent, with the warm patina of time attesting to its authenticity.
