Two vintage chairs designed in Italy by Fratelli Castiglioni, in good used condition with minor signs of wear.
AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
The chairs are made of wood with a red lacquer finish and feature the characteristic large arched back with a top opening that can be used as a handle.
The distinctive construction system allows the chair to fold, combining functionality with a minimal graphic line typical of the design research of the Castiglioni brothers.
Lot consisting of 2 chairs.
The pieces are presented in vintage condition, with signs of time and use clearly documented in the photographs: wear to the lacquer, small scratches, abrasions and color loss, particularly visible on the edges and at the bottom of the legs. These elements are consistent with the age and use of the items.
The chairs have not been restored or repainted, preserving their current appearance and patina.
The photographs constitute an integral part of the description and show in detail the state of conservation.
