Historical silver 1/2 ruble (Poltina) from 1857, minted in St. Petersburg under the reign of Tsar Alexander II. The coin is certified and encapsulated by the leading grading bureau NGC with the grade UNC Details - Harshly Cleaned (Certificate number: 8592396-001).Despite the prior cleaning, the coin is in superb physical condition without circulation wear (Uncirculated). The fine details of the imperial double-headed eagle, the shields, the scepter and the inscription have been preserved in razor-sharp detail. The coin also shows a beginning, attractive dark toning along the edges. A beautiful and guaranteed authentic specimen for the collector of Russian imperial silver.
