Olfactory assessment: Intense, complex and enveloping. Notable aromas of plum in jam, cherry in liqueur, and ripe forest fruits, complemented by rich notes of cocoa, chocolate, licorice, and sweet spices imparted by the oak.
Taste assessment: On the palate it is soft, warm, and of great structure. Silky tannins well integrated with excellent persistence and a pleasant sapid vein at the finish.
