Description from the seller
6x Tenuta Villa Crespia "Cisiolo" Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero DOCG – 0.75 l
Label information
Wine name: Cisiolo
Format: 0.75 l (75 cl)
Designation: Franciacorta DOCG
Type: Dosage Zero (Pas Dosé / Blanc de Noir)
Producer: Azienda Agricola Fratelli Muratori SS (Adro - Brescia, Italy)
Grape: 100% Pinot Noir
Disgorgement: 2021 (Lot L0521145)
Alcohol by volume: 13% vol.
Sensory profile
Visual examination: Bright straw-yellow color with subtle and elegant coppery tinges. Very fine, dense and long-lasting perlage.
Olfactory examination: Clean, intense and essential. Opens with pronounced notes of red berries (currant, wild strawberry), bitter citrus, bread crust, yeast and a marked mineral and chalky undertone.
Gustative examination: On the palate it is taut, vertical, with great structure and rigor. The absence of dosage (Dosage Zero) enhances pronounced acidity and a distinct sapidity, balanced by the natural creaminess and enveloping quality of Pinot Noir.
Food pairings
Seafood crudo, oysters, shrimp and tuna or salmon tartare
Mixed fry of small fish or tempura
Traditional Lombard and Emilian cured meats (e.g., Culatello, Prosciutto di Parma)
Seafood risottos or risottos with blue cheeses
Aged hard cheeses (e.g., Parmigiano Reggiano, Grana Padano)
Service
Glass used: Franciacorta tulip glass with a wide bowl.
Serving temperature: 6 - 8 °C
Curiosities about cellars and producer
A Pure Blanc de Noir from ClaySoils: The "Cisiolo" comes from Pinot Noir grapes vinified white and grown on the most clayey soils of Franciacorta. This specific terroir was chosen by the Muratori Brothers to ensure the ideal balance between acidity and varietal complexity.
The Philosophy of Unique Landscapes: The Muratori family (Tenuta Villa Crespia in Adro) has built its production on valorizating the different landscapes and pedoclimatic vocations of Franciacorta, dedicating each label to a specific expression of the territory and its grape varieties.
