Description from the seller
Barcelona is the lounge chair signed by KnollStudio, made according to the original specifications of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. In 1953 Knoll acquired the production rights to the Barcelona Collection. The Barcelona chair is also available in a children's version. The KnollStudio logo and the signature of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe are stamped on the frame of each individual chair.
The frame in chrome-plated flat steel boasts an artisanal finish and polishing that give it the characteristic mirror-like effect. 40 panels cut and sewn by hand, with button tufting. The panels come from the same cut of leather. The cushions are high-density foam wrapped in polyester fibers to provide greater comfort and are upholstered exclusively in high-quality leather. The seat and backrest are joined by a removable fastening element; the seat is connected to the frame with straps.
Upholstery in a wide range of leathers. The rubber used for this product complies with BS5852 regulations.
