Pair of large vintage handles in cast aluminum – Model G/002 – 1960s/1970s produced in Italy or Germany

Splendid and exceptional pair of large architectural handles in full Mid-Century Modern style, dating to the period spanning the 1960s and 1970s.
The handles are made of heavy cast aluminum, finished on the front with a rich sculptural relief texture in an asymmetric geometric pattern that recalls the abstract works of the modernist avant-garde of the period.

On the back of each piece the foundry mark is clearly visible with the model code G/002.
Thanks to their substantial size and striking visual impact, these elements were used as representative handles for entrance gates, large designer sliding doors, or to customize designer furniture and high-modernist pieces.
The lot includes both handles complete with their original metal mounting backplates (firmly fixed with screws on the back), ready to install.
