For sale: an AEG Mignon Model 4 indicator-type typewriter from the late Art Deco era (approx. 1927–1930), manufactured by Europa Schreibmaschinen A.G. Berlin-Erfurt.

This machine is a fascinating piece of technological history. Instead of a conventional keyboard, the model uses the distinctive index system: the pointer is guided over the characteristic letter tableau to actuate the central type cylinder. The printing of the respective letter is then released via a central switch.

Original condition with expressive, age-typical patina. The distinctive badge MIGNON AEG on the carriage and the model lettering on the base give the object its special vintage charm. Some paint deficiencies: please refer to the photos for a personal impression.

Features: Complete German index tableau and original type cylinder. The indicator field lies clean and easy to read.
