Kullmann Lampen - Table lamp (2) - XL Chique - Brass, Steel, Textile - Set Empire

A striking and decorative set of two matching table lamps, executed in an elegant mix of silver, chrome, and charcoal tones. The lamps feature a specially designed base with an organic, almost pebble- or lava-stone-like relief and are complemented by light fabric lampshades.

Together the lamps form a beautiful, symmetrical whole and look excellent on, for example, two nightstands, a sideboard, a sidetable, or on either side of a sofa.

Design and appearance

The base of each lamp has an elongated, gently rounded shape. The lower portion is finished in a matte silver-/anthracite-colored coating with vertical texture. This gives the surface extra depth and a subtle sparkle when light falls on it.

The upper portion forms the most characteristic element of the design. Here lies a highly glossy, mirror-like surface with an irregular organic relief of round and oval shapes. The various shapes and levels evoke polished stones, pebble textures, or solidified lava. The contrast between this high-gloss upper portion and the textured matte lower portion gives the lamps a luxurious and contemporary look.

Between the base and the shade there is a transparent/shiny decorative connecting element, giving the whole a refined finish.

Lampshades

Both lamps are equipped with matching, light cream/ivory fabric shades with a classic tapered model. A slightly darker beige/cream-colored trim runs along both the upper and lower edges.

When the lamps are switched on, the light fabric shades diffuse the light in a pleasant way. The reflective portions of the bases also create a beautiful interplay of light and reflections.
