Poltrona Frau – vintage armchair in Bordeaux leather, attributed to the Dream/A model – Archivio Frau

Elegant original Poltrona Frau armchair upholstered in natural leather in Bordeaux/dark red.

The piece features formal characteristics attributable to the Dream/A model, designed by Archivio Frau in 1967: a wide and enveloping structure, a tall backrest with two buttons, generous rolled arms with pleated detailing, a large seat cushion and rounded feet.

The armchair retains the original Poltrona Frau plaque, bearing the inscription “Poltrona Frau – Registered Trademark – Company founded in 1912”, visible in the photographs.

The leather shows a pleasant vintage patina, with creases, light abrasions, tonal variations and normal signs of use consistent with the age of the item. These elements attest to the leather’s use and natural aging and do not compromise, as far as visible, the overall appearance of the armchair.
