Chauvin Arnoux - Measuring instrument - Bakelite, Wood - 1940-1960 - Old electrostatic precision voltmeter

Old precision voltmeter Chauvin Arnoux Paris, French manufacture, probably dating from the 1940s-1960s, presented in its imposing original wooden case with handle and latch. The instrument features a large analog dial graduated up to 150 volts and several binding posts for different measuring ranges: 3 V, 30 V, 75 V, 150 V and 300 V. The dial bears the reference AN° 72087-2 as well as the inscription I = 0.005. A fine antique laboratory or electrical workshop instrument, showing a patina and some signs of use related to its age. Not tested.
