Limburg Glashütte - glashütte Limburg - Cluster ceiling lamp - A 493 - Cast brass, cast into a mold - mid-century design

Original Glashütte Limburg ceiling lamp, model A493, from the 1960s. This version has a solid brass ceiling plate and a heavy dome of pressed structural glass. The glass has a multi-layer, crystal-like structure which causes the light to be distributed warm and atmospheric. A typical mid-century design of high quality, originating from West Germany.

The original model label A493 is present (see photo), which confirms authenticity and collectible value. This type of Limburg lamps is known for their robust glasswork, cast brass and timeless design.
