The defining hallmark is a minimalist, graphic style.
The plates are made of white ceramic and decorated exclusively in black and white using decals.
The illustrations use thin lines and solid fills to create figures that evoke:
Surrealism: Faces that merge with everyday objects (silverware, food, hands).
Irony: The theme of "eating" is playfully and almost dreamily reinterpreted (such as the plate with a fishbone in place of the mouth or the tongue-spaghetti).
