David Bowie - Handpainted and signed by Artist Vincent Mink. - Portrait

Vincent Mink (born 2 August 1973) is a Dutch self-taught pop art artist, illustrator and designer. Since childhood drawing was his greatest passion. What started as a creative outlet grew into a recognizable artistic style in which iconic figures from the music, film and sports world are central. Mink mainly works with acrylic paint on canvas and creates powerful portraits that are immediately recognizable. His style is characterized by a dynamic fusion of pop art, expressive brushstrokes and a strong contrast between color, black, white and grays. Each work is handmade and personally signed. He draws his inspiration from legendary personalities who have influenced generations and left a lasting impression. From David Bowie and Freddie Mercury to Jimi Hendrix, Mick Jagger, Herman Brood and other cultural icons: Vincent Mink translates their character and energy into contemporary artworks with a strong visual impact. Through his authentic style and continuous production, Vincent Mink has built an international circle of collectors. His original paintings are regularly offered and sold via Catawiki and find their way to pop art and music history enthusiasts at home and abroad. For Vincent Mink, art is about more than just a portrait. Each painting tells a story, evokes memories and brings the timeless aura of cultural icons back to life.
