Description from the seller

Large 12-person tablecloth in pure linen, with cutwork embroidery and Renaissance Stitch. Brand new never used
Description:
Prestigious and monumental antique dining set for 12 people, entirely handmade and finished in the mid-20th century. The set, consisting of a large tablecloth and 12 coordinated napkins, comes from my grandmother's bridal trousseau and has been jealously guarded until today. The fabric is a premium pure linen of the highest quality, characterized by a robust weave, a cool feel to the touch, and the natural luster typical of the best vintage threads.
The tablecloth stands out for a rich central "frame" worked with the refined technique of cutwork embroidery, with floral and geometric motifs, united by festoon stitch bars and enriched with decorative spider stitches. The corners and edges feature splendid complex inserts in Renaissance Point (lace with ribbon worked by needle) that give extraordinary elegance to the drape of the fabric. The napkins feature coordinated embroidery in one corner.
