The book brings together photographs made during approximately a decade of travel across the United States. Moving between cities, small towns, rural landscapes and roadside America, Bertini examines the relationship between people and the vast spaces they inhabit, producing what photography critic Gilles Mora describes as a “poetics of isolation.”
