Description from the seller
Object description: Circular serving tray with a smooth, elegant profile. It features a slight bulge on the edge (technically called a “rolled rim” or mirror edge, model “Contour” from the 1970s—highly sought after for its clean, modern look) signed by an outstanding silversmith such as Clementi (71 AL).
Material: Solid silver 800/1000 fineness.
Style: Classical / Minimalist of the 20th century (clean, essential style, ideal both as a presentation plate and as a decorative element).
Punzoniatura (hallmarks): Title: 800 enclosed in an oval. Origin identifier: ★ 71 AL enclosed in an elongated hexagonal lozenge. The five-pointed star (here partially impressed and rounded on the left side) dates the piece to after 1969. The number 71 attributes the piece to the prestigious Argenteria Clementi of Alessandria.
Weight: 408 grams. Size: Diameter 27 cm.
Condition: Excellent. The object is structurally intact, free of deep dents or deformations; it only exhibits the natural light surface patina of oxidation, easily removable with normal cleaning.
