Val Saint Lambert – "Falcon" crystal sculpture by Katherine De Sousa
An elegant and highly collectible crystal sculpture depicting a stylised falcon, designed by Katherine De Sousa for the renowned Belgian crystal manufacturer Val Saint Lambert.
The sculpture beautifully captures the proud posture of a bird of prey through flowing minimalist lines and thick, brilliantly clear lead crystal. Its sculptural silhouette and exceptional light refraction make it equally suitable as an art object, desk sculpture or decorative interior piece.
The original Val Saint Lambert label is still present and the base bears the etched signature De Sousa, confirming the collaboration with designer Katherine De Sousa during the late twentieth century.
This example is the smaller version of the Falcon model.
Condition
Very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks observed. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
