AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Splendid and iconic circular 1970s bar cart / drink-carrying trolley. A manifesto piece of Italian Space Age design in molded plastic.
The cart unfolds over two levels with wide round trays with raised rims, supported by flat vertical uprights, in a refined vintage cream/ivory coloration.
* CONDITIONS AND ORIGINALITY: The item presents overall excellent vintage condition, solid, stable and structurally perfect (free of cracks or breaks). The plastic retains a beautiful sheen and shows some fine micro-scratches consistent with age. For complete transparency, it should be noted that on the upper resting surface there is a slight age-related finish/veneer touch-up with a tone slightly different from the rest of the body, carried out in the past to preserve its aesthetics. The cart is an original preserved piece in the hardware: it retains its three vintage chrome swiveling wheels in working order and all the standard hardware in the lower undercarriage (butterfly nuts for manual assembly and vintage green plastic washers).
* SHIPPING NOTES: To ensure maximum safety during transport and avoid any kind of damage, the cart will be shipped disassembled inside a flat protective customized packaging. Assembly is extremely simple, quick and faithful to the designer's original idea: it is done entirely by hand in a few minutes by screwing on the standard butterfly nuts, with no tools or screwdriver required.
* AUTHENTICITY AND HISTORICAL DETAILS: Under the base there is the original imprint in the mold "MADE IN ITALY".
* AGE / ERA: 1970s (1970-1980)
* MATERIAL: Molded plastic (ABS)
* ORIGIN: Italy
* DIMENSIONS: Height 52 cm | Diameter 45 cm | Width 45 cm | Depth 45 cm
* COLORS: Cream/Ivory and chrome metal details
An unmissable opportunity to acquire a piece of Italian design history for display, ready to furnish a living room in perfect Space Age style.
