Description from the seller

Dark brown vintage German teddy bear
c. 1940/1950 – 42 cm tall – Fully jointed – Wood wool-filled – Authentic condition.
Shaggy, coffee-brown mohair fur with slight age-related wear. Flat back. The foot pads and palms are made of a sturdy woven fabric (characteristic of material shortages during the war and early post-war periods) and feature three stitched claw lines extending down to the sole—a characteristic of Hermann or Richard Diem (Sonnenberg) bears.
The bear is fully 5-way jointed (head, arms, and legs) with authentic, hard round discs (hardboard?) and cotter pins. The limbs still move well. Filled with wood wool, giving the bear its characteristic firmness and structure. Brown glass eyes and a hand-embroidered snout and mouth.
The bear has no major defects, only wear to the fur and the embroidered mouth.

Golden-yellow vintage German teddy bear
c. 1940/1950 – 50 cm tall – Fully jointed – Wood wool-filled – Voice box – Authentic condition.

The light-blonde mohair foot pads and palms are shaved and feature three stitched claw lines extending down to the sole—a characteristic of Hermann or Richard Diem (Sonnenberg) bears.
