The classic Leitz/Leica macro bellows for the historic bellows system (to be used with the Visoflex II or III mirror box or directly on digital cameras with Live View via dedicated rings) has a basic metallic mechanical structure with variable extension. Main Technical Specifications (Leitz / Leica Macro Bellows)
• Accessory type: Extensible macro bellows for macro photography and close focusing.
• Camera mount: Leica M bayonet mount (historically via adapter or integrated into the Visoflex system).
• Objective mount: Threaded adapter ring.
• Extension travel: Variable from about 35 mm to over 130 mm (for reproduction ratios above 1:1 depending on the lens used).
• Material: Die-cast metal and accordion fabric with anti-reflective rubber coating.
• Historical compatibility: Designed for use with Visoflex units (II / III) which function as a reflex mirror box to overcome the limitations of the M rangefinder.
