Description from the seller
The pendant is crafted to perfection by hand from 925 silver and features a fossil ammonite, a spiral-shelled creature that once belonged to an extinct marine mollusk; it is one of the most well-known fossils on Earth and an absolute eye-catcher.
The interior of the ammonite chambers: each chamber was filled with sparkling ammolite fragments, an organic and very rare gemstone formed from fossilized mineral sediments. Ammolite is renowned for its incredible range of colors; only Indigenous tribes in Canada have the right to mine and sell it. The Indigenous people who discovered these pieces with the utmost care consist of about 60 individuals. There is a fascinating story behind every fragment of ammolite.
