English silver-plated tray, elaborately chased/lab clarado, Victoriana style

Elegant large-format English tray, made of silver-plated metal, with extraordinary, richly chased and engraved decoration in Rococo-inspired style, with arabesques, acanthus leaves, floral motifs and volutes. The perimeter features a characteristic beaded border and gadrooned moulding, adding depth and ornamental richness.

Due to its design and execution, it can be placed in the mid-19th century, within English production of decorative pieces in the historicist style. It presents an elegant rectangular shape with softly rounded corners and a wide central decorative field.
